We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery, as long as items are in new, sellable condition with original tags attached. For select accessories (like collars), returns aren't accepted if the protective sticker is removed or shows a checkered pattern. A $7 restocking fee applies to all returns. Our collection is designed and assembled in Budapest, Hungary. The hardware we use is made by a trusted partner in the United States, and we now source most of it from their warehouses in China and soon, Thailand. Our packaging — including dust bags, custom tissue, boxes, and mailers — is made in China using recyclable and earth-friendly materials. We’re proud to work with partners who support our commitment to quality and sustainability.
Our accessories are made from Viridis Leather, a high-quality alternative leather sourced from Italy. This material contains up to 69% plant-based raw materials, like corn and wheat, and is PETA approved. It’s washable, scratch-resistant, and sustainable—perfect for those looking for an eco-friendly, luxurious option. Additionally, we use custom-printed Italian webbing that’s both durable and stylish. The webbing complements your pet’s personality while providing the perfect blend of strength and design. The hardware on our accessories is made from solid brass with a natural brushed finish and an anti-tarnish coating, ensuring both durability and a sleek, timeless look that stands the test of time. To finish off each piece, we add a gold-embossed stamp, giving our accessories that final touch of elegance and luxury.
As a small brand, we are not currently able to offer custom sizes, colors, or engraving services, as my factory doesn’t have the facilities for those options. That said, the brass medallion on our collars is engravable if you’d like to personalize it through a local service. Customization is definitely something I hope to offer in the future as we grow, and I really appreciate your interest and support!
We recommend using a mild soap solution mixed with warm water and a soft cloth to gently wipe the surface. Be sure to avoid harsh chemicals, excessive scrubbing, or soaking the material in water. After cleaning, always dry thoroughly with a clean soft cloth to ensure the material stays pristine. For the best results, it’s not recommended to machine wash or dry these items due to the gold embossing and brass hardware. Instead, we recommend hand washing and air drying your item after cleaning. For ultimate longevity, we recommend storing your item in the dust bag provided with every purchase.
We do not recommend allowing the accessories to be submerged in chlorine or salt water.
Our products were created for style-conscious pet owners and their dogs, combining design with durability. Each piece meets strength requirements for dogs up to 80 pounds with a maximum pull strength of 125 pounds. While built to last, they are not intended for aggressive pullers or extreme outdoor activities.
We use FedEx SmartPost (formerly FedEx Ground) for most orders, and in some cases, USPS. Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location. We also offer FedEx 2 Day shipping for an additional cost.
While we don’t currently offer international shipping, we’re actively exploring ways to expand our shipping options to serve customers outside the United States in the future.
Social Animal cannot be held liable for breach of any of its obligations if the poor performance of the product is the result of an event of force majeure, or of the Customer's act or omission or of an unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party or an obstacle outside of Social Animal's control that Social Animal could not reasonably foresee at the time when the sale was conducted into with the Customer and which consequences Social Animal cannot reasonably avoid or overcome.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We want you to feel great about your purchase, and we understand that sometimes something might not be quite right. That’s why we offer returns and exchanges within 30 days of receipt, as long as the item is in new and sellable condition with original tags attached.

Please keep in mind there is a $7 restocking fee for standard returns.

Collar
For select accessories, like our collars, the dog tag will arrive wrapped in a clear protective material with a security sticker that reads “no return after removal.” If the sticker has been removed or shows a checkered design, the item is unfortunately no longer eligible for return.
In addition, we ask that you please follow the return instructions in the video to ensure a seamless return experience. When returning the collar, please slip the tongue of the collar through the brown leather tab to create a stiff circle, like the video. Please do not buckle the collar. This is the best way to protect, store and return your collar. Please wrap the collar with remaining tissue and place in the dust bag.

Harness
If you purchased a harness, we ask that you kindly ensure that the side release buckle is closed, before placing it in the dust bag for return, so the hardware does not scratch in transit.
